One Thriving Planet — Privacy Policy
Last updated September 6, 2026
One Thriving Planet ("OTP," "we," "us") respects your privacy. Our clients, delivery partners, investors, donors, and event attendees are based around the world. So, rather than apply a different standard to different people depending on which specific law happens to govern their location, we've chosen to hold ourselves to one consistent, high standard for everyone whose information we hold — informed by some of the most protective privacy frameworks currently in use around the world, including Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD), the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Nigeria's Data Protection Act, and Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), but offered as our own practice rather than a claim of compliance with any single law.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
Who We Are
One Thriving Planet, a project of Full Spectrum Labs, fiscally sponsored by Movement Strategy Center, is the organization responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
- Address: 1714 Franklin St., Suite 100, PMB 814, Oakland, CA 94612, United States
- Contact for privacy questions or requests: privacy@onethrivingplanet.com
What We Collect
When you submit a form on one of our offer pages, we collect:
- Your full name (and any title you choose to include)
- Your email address
- The category you select, where a form asks about your role or the type of inquiry you have
- Which page you submitted the form on, which tells us what you're interested in
- Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, collected automatically by our website and third-party services that help us run it, such as our database manager
We do not knowingly collect any special category information (such as health, religious, or political information) through these forms, and we ask that you not include anything of that kind in optional fields.
Why We Collect It, and the Basis We Rely On
|
Purpose |
Basis |
|---|---|
|
Responding to your request (for example, sending the overview you asked for) |
Necessary to take the steps you asked us to take |
|
Following up about the offering you expressed interest in |
Our legitimate interest in pursuing the relationship you initiated |
|
Sharing your details with the relevant delivery partner, so they can respond to you directly |
Your consent — only where you've checked the consent box on the form |
|
Internal routing, prioritization, and record-keeping |
Our legitimate interest in operating effectively |
|
Recognizing you and picking up the conversation if we reconnect through a future event, community of practice, or shared network |
Our legitimate interest in maintaining continuity in relationships we've already started |
Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time — see Section 7. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect the lawfulness of anything we did with your information before you withdrew it.
Who We Share It With
We share your information with:
- The specific delivery partner named on the page you submitted, so they can respond to your inquiry directly. We do not share your information with a delivery partner unless you've specifically agreed to it.
- HubSpot, the customer relationship management platform we use to store and manage this information.
- Automation tools we use to route your inquiry to the correct partner promptly.
Before we share any information with a delivery partner, we put written data protection commitments in place with them — the kind of contractual safeguards commonly used to protect data across borders — covering how they may use your information, requiring them to keep it secure, and prohibiting them from sharing it further without our authorization. We hold every partner and provider we work with to this same standard, regardless of where they or you are located. We do not share your information with a delivery partner until these agreements are in place with them.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with any other third party for their own marketing purposes.
Some programs share your information with a named external delivery partner, as described above. Others are run by One Thriving Planet directly, with no external partner involved — the specific page you used will make clear which applies.
International Data Transfers
Because our partners and service providers are located in different countries, your information may be processed outside the country where you're located, including in the United States. The written agreements described in Section 4 apply to this processing as well, regardless of where a given partner or provider is based.
How Long We Keep It
- If you become an active contact: we retain your information for as long as our relationship continues, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, accounting, or record-keeping purposes.
- If you submit a form but no relationship develops: we retain your information for up to 30 months from your last interaction with us, after which it is deleted or anonymized. We use this window because many of the people we hear from are part of small, closely connected communities where we're likely to cross paths again — at a future event, through a shared partner, or in the same professional network — and we'd rather pick up that conversation with context than start over.
- If you withdraw consent or request deletion: we will delete your information within 30 days, except where we're legally required to retain limited records.
Your Rights
Regardless of where you're located or which specific law applies to you, we extend the following rights to everyone whose information we hold, as a matter of our own practice:
- Be informed about how your data is used (this policy).
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure of your data, subject to limited exceptions (for example, where we're legally required to keep a record).
- Restrict how we process your data in certain circumstances.
- Receive your data in a portable format, or have it transferred directly to another organization where feasible.
- Object to our processing of your data where we rely on legitimate interest as our basis for doing so.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent — for example, sharing your details with a delivery partner. This won't affect anything we did with your data before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@onethrivingplanet.com. We aim to respond within one month.
If your country has its own data protection authority, you're also welcome to raise a concern with them directly.
Automated Decision-Making
We do not use your information for any fully automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you. Where our forms ask you to select a category — for example, your role or the type of inquiry you have — we may use that selection to help a person on our team route and prioritize your follow-up. This does not determine any outcome about you automatically.
Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses HubSpot to power the forms on our offer pages. When you visit one of these pages, HubSpot's own tracking script sets a small number of cookies in your browser — most importantly one called hubspotutk, which connects your form submission to our records and lets us see whether you'd visited before. A few related cookies support this same function across your visit.
These cookies are used to manage our relationship with you as a contact — not for advertising, and not shared with any third party for their own purposes.
If you'd prefer these cookies not be set, you can adjust this in your browser's privacy settings, though doing so may affect how well our forms work.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including restricting access to your information to team members and partners who need it to follow up with you.
Children's Privacy
Our services are directed at adults acting in a professional, governmental, or philanthropic capacity, and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
